Snow (Hey Oh)

Por azares del destino redescubrí esta canción que traía pegada hace mucho tiempo y no la quería soltar. Apareció en mi memoria de nuevo cuando recordé el video de esta misma (más adelante explicaré el porqué).

Viene incluida en el disco doble de Stadium Arcadium (2006). Contiene una melodía mucho más suave que otras canciones de los Red Hot... Más o menos como del estilo de By the Way o Dosed. El riff de guitarra cortesía de Joe Frusciante (bastante rápido, por cierto) es hipnótico.

La letra de esta canción habla (en un nivel, un poco metafórico) sobre los repetidos fracasos de intentar comenzar tu vida de nuevo y de cómo cuesta trabajo librarse de las antiguas formas de pensar...

Les dejo la letra y el video de la canción, que me parece un excelente video, aun para ser grabado en vivo. El efecto cuando entra el coro con más fuerza y empiezan a caer los pedazos de papel del techo, se ve impresionante.
